Elastimold N0250 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What voltage class is the Elastimold N0250 connector rated for?
The N0250 is a 15-35KV class component, so it covers medium voltage underground distribution work across that range rather than being limited to a single 15KV or 25KV class system.
2) What conductor size does the Elastimold N0250 accept?
It is built for 2/0 stranded conductor. If your cable is a different size, this is the wrong part number, since the connector body is sized to that conductor.
3) How many spade connections does the Elastimold N0250 have?
Two spade connections, in the R2 configuration. That gives you two tap points off the one connector body for medium voltage loadbreak or deadbreak terminations depending on your system layout.
4) What is the manufacturer part number for the Elastimold 15-35KV two spade 2/0 stranded connector?
Order it as Elastimold N0250. That is the full MPN, and it specifies the 15-35KV class, R2 two-spade configuration and 2/0 stranded conductor size together, so no additional suffix is needed.
