Elastimold N0220 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What voltage class is the Elastimold N0220 connector rated for?
The Elastimold N0220 is a 15-35KV class connector, so it covers the common 15kV, 25kV and 35kV medium-voltage distribution classes rather than being limited to a single class.
2) What conductor size does the Elastimold N0220 spade connector take?
It is built for No. 2 stranded conductor. If your cable is a different size, the N0220 is not the right part number, since the conductor barrel is sized to that specific gauge.
3) How many spade connections does the Elastimold N0220 provide?
Two spade connections. It is a two-spade R2 tap plug configuration, so it lands two spade terminations off a single No. 2 stranded conductor.
4) What is the manufacturer part number for the Elastimold 15-35KV two-spade tap plug on No. 2 stranded?
Order it as Elastimold N0220. That is the only model designation on the part, so a distributor or utility storeroom can cross it directly without a suffix.
