Yes. The ASC Engineered Solutions 2 inch galvanized cap has a female pipe thread (FPT) end cut to ASME B1.20.1, which is the standard NPT taper thread used on Schedule 40 steel pipe. Screw it onto any 2 inch male pipe thread with thread sealant or PTFE tape.

It is UL/FM listed, so it is acceptable for fire protection piping where a listed fitting is required. It is standard (STD) pressure class, rated per ASME B16.3, with a galvanized finish applied to ASTM A-153, which is what most wet and dry sprinkler branch lines call for.
