The MegaPressG 25076 is a 3/4 inch by 3/4 inch press coupling in carbon steel, so it joins two runs of 3/4 inch black iron or carbon steel pipe. Both ends are press connections (P1 x P2), not threaded, so the pipe ends go in as cut, no threading or sealant.
2) What does the "no stop" mean on the Viega 25076 coupling, and when do I need that version instead of a standard coupling?
A no stop coupling has no internal shoulder, so the fitting can be slid along the pipe.
