1) How many F32T8 lamps will the Keystone KTEB-332-UV-IS-N-P-DP ballast run?
The KTEB-332-UV-IS-N-P-DP drives three F32T8 lamps, and it will also run two, so the same ballast covers a 3-lamp troffer and a 2-lamp fixture. Lamp type is F32T8 only, the 4-foot 32-watt T8 fluorescent.
2) Will a KTEB-332-UV ballast work on both 120V and 277V circuits?
Yes. It is a universal voltage ballast rated 120-277V, so the same part works on 120V in a small commercial space and on 277V in a typical building lighting circuit. That is what makes it useful for an MRO stockroom standardizing one ballast across mixed-voltage buildings.
3) Can I use this Keystone T8 ballast on a dimming circuit or with a wireless lighting control system?
No. The KTEB-332-UV-IS-N-P-DP is non-dimmable and has no wireless control capability. Wire it to a straight switched or relay-controlled circuit. If the fixtures are on 0-10V dimmers or a networked control system, you need a dimming ballast instead.
4) Does this ballast come with lamps or an LED module?
Ballast only. No LED module is included and no lamps come with it, so order three F32T8 lamps separately if you are relamping at the same time. This is a fluorescent ballast, not an LED retrofit driver.
5) How does the KTEB-332 ballast connect to the fixture wiring?
It ships with standard wire leads, so you splice to the existing fixture leads with wire nuts or connectors rather than plugging into a connector block. Unit weight is 1.18 lbs, light enough to sit on the standard ballast channel mounting.
6) Is this a replacement ballast or an add-on accessory for an existing ballast?
It is a complete electronic T8 ballast, not an accessory device that supplements another ballast. Pull the failed ballast out of the fixture channel and this goes in its place, wired to the lampholders through its own leads.
