Metallics PCC600B – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What size conduit does the Metallics PCC600B PVC coupling fit?
The PCC600B is a 6 inch PVC coupling, so it joins 6 inch PVC conduit. Order it only for 6 inch runs; smaller trade sizes need the matching smaller coupling.
2) Is the Metallics PCC600B a push-in coupling or does it need glue?
It is a push-in style coupling, so the conduit ends seat into the coupling body rather than threading in.
3) What is the Metallics PCC600B made of and where is it used?
It is a PVC coupling used to join lengths of 6 inch PVC electrical conduit. Being non-metallic PVC, it is the fitting used with PVC raceway rather than with EMT or rigid steel conduit, which take metal couplings.
4) How do I order the Metallics 6 inch PVC push-in coupling, and is there more than one version?
There is one model, PCC600B, in 6 inch. No size, finish, or option choice to specify when ordering.
