American Standard Baby Devoro 1.28 gpf/4.8 Lpf 10-1/4-Inch Height Top Spud Elongated Bowl - AMS-2282001

No tank. The Baby Devoro 2282001 is a bowl only, with a 1-1/2 inch (38 mm) top spud inlet, so it has to be paired with an exposed flushometer valve rated for 1.28 gpf. The bowl is a siphon jet design made specifically for flush valve operation. Budget for the flushometer, the vacuum breaker/tube assembly, and a seat separately, since the 10-1/4 inch bowl height is measured less seat.

10 inches (254 mm) from the finished wall to the center of the closet flange. That is not the standard 12 inch commercial rough, so measure the existing waste line before ordering. If your flange sits at 12 inches, this bowl will leave a gap at the wall and the top spud will not line up cleanly with the flushometer drop.

Yes, that is what the Baby Devoro is for. The bowl stands 10-1/4 inches (260 mm) high before a seat is added, which puts the seated height in the range used for preschool and lower elementary restrooms. Adult-height commercial bowls sit considerably taller, so this is not a substitute in a general-use washroom.

It carries a MaP score of 800 grams at 1.28 gpf, and the trapway is 2 inches (51 mm) and fully glazed, which is what keeps waste and paper moving through rather than catching. The 10 x 12 inch water surface also limits bowl fouling between cleanings.

The bowl is built for 1.28 gpf/4.8 Lpf operation, which is the high-efficiency consumption rate rather than the older 1.6 gpf standard. Flush volume is set by the flushometer you install, so specify a 1.28 gpf valve to actually get that rate at the fixture.

White is the finish offered, ordered as part number 2282001.02. Two color-matched bolt caps come with the bowl, so you do not need to source caps separately to finish the floor mount.

Elongated. That gives a longer seating surface than a round front bowl at the same child height, so confirm your stall depth and partition clearance before swapping a round front child bowl for it.
