American Standard Cadet Pressure Assist Chair Height Elongated EverClean Bowl - AMS-3483001

Bowl only. The Cadet 3483001 is a floor-mount elongated pressure-assist bowl, so you order a matching pressure-assist tank separately. It works with both 1.1 gpf/4.2 Lpf and 1.6 gpf/6.0 Lpf tanks, which gives you the choice between a high-efficiency flush and a standard 1.6 flush on the same bowl. Color-matched bolt caps are included with the bowl.

Pressure assist uses the building's water pressure to force the flush, which clears the bowl harder and is the usual pick for commercial and high-traffic restrooms, restaurants, and multi-family buildings where clogs mean a service call. It is noticeably louder than gravity flush, so gravity is the better choice next to guest rooms, offices, or residential bedrooms. The Cadet 3483001 is the pressure-assist option, and it must be paired with a pressure-assist tank, not a gravity tank.

Floor-mount. It sets on the finished floor over a standard floor flange with a closet bolt at each side, and the color-matched bolt caps come with it. If your restroom is roughed in for a carrier-mounted wall hung fixture, this bowl will not work on that opening.

No. The 3483001 is an elongated bowl, so it takes an elongated seat. A round front seat will leave the front of the rim exposed and will not line up to the bolt holes properly. Order an elongated seat, and for commercial restrooms an open front seat is the normal spec.

Yes, and that is one reason facility buyers pick it. The same bowl accepts both 1.1 gpf/4.2 Lpf and 1.6 gpf/6.0 Lpf pressure-assist tanks, so you can keep one bowl part number, 3483001.02 in white, across the building and vary only the tank where a water-use requirement or a retrofit dictates it. Seats, bolt caps and the 16-1/2 inch chair height stay consistent across every stall.

White, ordered as American Standard part number 3483001.02. The bolt caps supplied with it are color matched to the white china, so nothing extra is needed to finish the base.
