American Standard Cadet Pressure Assist Elongated EverClean Bowl - AMS-3481001

Bowl only. The Cadet pressure assist elongated bowl is a floor-mount china bowl that ships with color-matched bolt caps, so you still need to order a matching pressure-assist tank, the seat, and a wax ring and closet bolts to finish the install.

Either one. The 3481001 bowl is rated for both 1.1 gpf/4.2 Lpf and 1.6 gpf/6.0 Lpf pressure-assist tanks, so if you are standardizing a building on 1.6 gpf you can keep this bowl, and you can move to 1.1 gpf later without changing the china.

Pressure assist is the choice where the fixture gets heavy traffic and clogs cost you a service call: the tank uses line pressure to force the flush rather than relying on gravity head. It is louder than gravity, so it suits offices, schools, retail and multi-family common restrooms more than a quiet residential bath. The Cadet 3481001 is the pressure-assist bowl in that family and takes a pressure-assist tank, not a gravity tank.

Only if the stall depth allows it. The 3481001 is elongated, which projects roughly two inches further into the room than a round front bowl on the same rough-in. In a tight commercial stall or a residential half bath that swap can put the bowl into the door swing, so measure the clear space in front of the fixture before ordering.

No seat is included. The bowl ships with color-matched bolt caps only, so specify an elongated seat separately, and for commercial traffic that usually means an open-front elongated seat without a cover.

No. It is a floor-mount bowl that sets on the finished floor over a floor closet flange and bolts down. A wall-hung installation needs a carrier and a wall-outlet bowl, which is a different fixture entirely.

EverClean is an antimicrobial surface fired into the china. It inhibits growth of the bacteria, mold and mildew that cause stains and odors on the surface itself. It is not a substitute for cleaning and it does nothing for what is in the water, but on a fleet of restrooms it slows down the staining that makes bowls look bad between services.

White only, ordered as part number 3481001.02. The bolt caps ship color matched to the china, so a white bowl arrives with white caps and there is nothing extra to specify on the order.
