American Standard M970502-GN00A – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Does the American Standard hand shower holder come with the handshower and hose?
No. M970502 is the holder on its own, the bracket the wand sits in. If you're replacing a broken cradle you can order just this piece; if you're building a complete handshower setup you'll need the wand and a shower hose as well.
2) What is American Standard part M970502-GN00A?
It's the American Standard hand shower holder, the wall bracket that cradles the handshower wand when it isn't in use. Ordering code M970502-GN00A is the Brushed Cool Sunrise finish. The holder itself is the mounting piece only, so the handshower and hose are separate items.
3) What finish does this American Standard shower holder come in, and will it match my trim?
One finish is offered on this holder: Brushed Cool Sunrise, under code M970502-GN00A. It's a brushed warm gold tone, so it matches American Standard trim and handshowers specified in that same Brushed Cool Sunrise finish. It will not blend with polished chrome, brushed nickel, or matte black trim, and if you're standardizing fixtures across units, order the finish that matches the valve trim already on the wall.
