No below-deck control box. The NextGen Selectronic puts the sensor, battery and solenoid valve inside the spout itself, so there is nothing to mount in the cabinet and nothing to run wiring to. That is the main reason it goes into tight vanity cabinets and retrofits where the old control box location is already crowded.

Battery powered, and the battery ships installed. It runs on a CR-P2 lithium cell rated for 5 years, so there is no transformer, no receptacle needed under the sink, and no electrician on the install. For a property manager that means the faucet can go anywhere there is a supply line.

0.5 gpm (1.9 Lpm), pressure compensating, through a multi-laminar spray. Pressure compensating means the stream holds that rate as building pressure swings, which matters in multi-story buildings and busy restrooms where several fixtures run at once. At 0.5 gpm it is a handwashing flow, not a pot-filling flow.

Single inlet. It dispenses whatever you feed it, cold or tempered, so there is no hot and cold mixing at the faucet and no handle to set temperature. If you want warm water at the spout you supply it from a thermostatic mixing valve upstream. Spec that valve as part of the job, because the faucet itself will not do the blending.

Not on its own. The faucet is a single-hole fixture, and deck plates for 4 inch (102 mm) and 8 inch (203 mm) centers are offered separately. If you are replacing a centerset or widespread faucet on an existing three-hole deck, order the matching deck plate with the faucet or you will have two open holes in the countertop.

A safety timer shuts the water off after 55 seconds of continuous run, so a jammed sensor or an object left in the beam cannot flood a basin. It also purges periodically on its own to move stagnant water out of the line, which is the feature facility managers look for in schools and healthcare where fixtures sit unused between shifts.

Yes. It installs from the top of the deck, and the serviceable parts, battery included, are reachable from above. Battery changes and solenoid service do not mean lying in the cabinet with a basin wrench, which is what makes it practical for a maintenance tech standardizing across a lot of restrooms.

Not for filling or rinsing work. At 0.5 gpm with a laminar handwashing spray, the NextGen Selectronic is built for hand hygiene sinks, restrooms, break rooms and dedicated handwash stations. For a prep or three-compartment sink you want a manual or pre-rinse faucet at a much higher flow. Where the goal is hands-free hygiene and water savings, this is the fixture.

Three: polished chrome (7755105.002), polished brass (7755105.099), and brushed nickel (7755105.295). All three are the same faucet, so if you are standardizing a building you can hold one model number and pick the suffix that matches the trim already on the other openings.
