American Standard Reliant 22 in. Pedestal Sink, 8 in. Widespread Holes - AMS-467802

The basin is wall supported with the pedestal carrying part of the load, and the wall-mounting hardware ships with the sink. That means you need solid blocking or backing in the wall at the mounting height before you close up the drywall. Retrofitting into bare stud bays without added backing is the most common install problem on this type of lav.

You get the china basin, the pedestal, and the wall-mounting hardware. The faucet is sold separately, and you will also need a lavatory drain assembly with overflow and a P-trap with supply stops to finish the job. Spec the faucet as an 8 inch widespread to match the drillings.

Partly. The Reliant pedestal column conceals the trap and supplies from normal viewing angles, which is why it gets specified in guest baths and small powder rooms where there is no vanity cabinet. It is not a full enclosure, so rough-in placement still needs to be reasonably centered behind the column. If you need the plumbing fully boxed in or storage underneath, a vanity-mounted lav is the better call.

The bowl is 6 inches deep, which is enough to wash up without splashing over the rim, and the overall sink is 22 inches. Drainage is through an integral rear overflow, so a standard lavatory drain with overflow ports works with it.

The body is vitreous china with a high-gloss glaze, which is stain resistant and wipes down with standard restroom cleaners, so it holds up in multi-family and light commercial washrooms. In high-abuse public restrooms, a wall-hung lav with concealed arm carrier is usually specified instead, since a pedestal column can be knocked loose and offers no ADA knee clearance.

White only, catalogued as model 467802.02. If you are matching a toilet or a second lav in the same room, American Standard white china is a consistent shade across the Reliant line, so it pairs without a visible mismatch.
