American Standard M970145-2950A – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Is the American Standard M970145 a complete shower valve or just the head?
Just the showerhead. The M970145 is the spray head itself, so the shower arm, escutcheon, valve and trim are separate items you'll need to have in place or order alongside it.
2) What finishes does the American Standard M970145 showerhead come in?
Two finishes: Legacy Bronze (M970145-2780A) and Brushed Nickel (M970145-2950A). If you're matching a tub filler or shower trim already on the wall, order by that suffix, since the base number M970145 is the same on both.
3) Which American Standard part number do I give my supplier for the brushed nickel version of the M970145 showerhead?
Brushed Nickel is M970145-2950A. The Legacy Bronze version is M970145-2780A. Both are the same American Standard showerhead, differing only by finish code.
