Blanco 232002 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Will the Blanco 232002 cutting board fit any kitchen sink, or only Blanco sinks?
It is custom fit to BLANCO sinks. The board is sized to rest on the sink's interior ledge so you can wash, peel and chop at counter height. On a non-Blanco sink with a different ledge arrangement it may not seat, though it still works as a standard countertop board on its rubber feet.
2) Is the Blanco 232002 a sink grid or a cutting board?
It is a cutting board, not a wire protective grid. It rests on the sink ledge at counter height as a prep surface rather than sitting in the bottom of the basin to protect the sink floor. If you need basin-bottom protection, order a stainless grid sized to your Blanco model instead.
3) Can the Blanco Precision walnut board be used on the counter, or only over the sink?
Both. It has non-slip protective feet on the underside so it sits flat and stable on a countertop without sliding or marking the surface, and it also drops onto the sink ledge when you want the prep area over the basin.
4) What is the Blanco 232002 cutting board made of, and is it food safe?
It is made of a walnut wood compound and is stated as food safe. The compound construction keeps it light enough to lift on and off the sink one-handed while giving you a warm wood surface rather than plastic or composite.
