Blanco 231609 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What size is the Blanco Quatrus ash cutting board?
It measures 11.42 inches by 17.5 inches. If you are checking a sink opening yourself, Blanco calls for a 1/8 inch reveal around the sink bowl for the board to seat properly, so the ledge opening needs to be slightly larger than the board itself.
2) Can the Blanco 231609 board be used on the countertop, or only over the sink?
Both. It has non-slip protective feet on the underside, so it can be set straight onto a counter without sliding or scuffing the surface, and it also drops into the sink ledge when you want to free up counterspace.
3) Does the Blanco 231609 work as a sink cover or drainer at counter height?
It seats in the sink's ledge so the working surface sits level with the countertop, which lets you wash, peel and chop in one spot and sweep scraps straight into the bowl below. It is a sink accessory for Quatrus sinks, not a universal over-sink board.
