The kit is complete for a basic run. NUVO ships the 64-141 with an outdoor rated plug-in driver, a receiver, an RF remote, 40 mounting clips, and one 10M reel of tape. No separate driver or transformer purchase is needed, since the driver is included and the tape runs on 24V low voltage. The LEDs are integrated into the tape, so there are no lamps to buy.

The tape itself is IP65 rated and carries a wet location rating, and the supplied driver is outdoor rated. That said, NUVO classes the 64-141 as an indoor product, so the safe read is protected exterior applications like covered soffits and patios rather than fully exposed runs. For a fully exposed outdoor installation, specify a fixture NUVO lists as outdoor.

Both. The 64-141 is an RGB plus tunable white tape, so you get saturated color for accent work and an adjustable white range for general light from the same run. Note it is not a CCT-selectable fixture with a switch on the driver, the white tuning is done through the remote or Starfish control. CRI is 80 plus.

Plug-in. The connection type on the 64-141 is a plug, and the driver supplied with it is a plug-in unit, so installation requires an accessible receptacle near the start of the run instead of a junction box and whip. If the spec on your drawing calls for a hardwired, remote-driver tape system, this kit is not the right choice.

Dimming is handled through the included RF remote and receiver, not a line voltage wall dimmer. The 64-141 is a dimmable 24V system, and because the driver is a plug-in unit the control happens downstream of it. If you want app or voice control instead of the handheld, the product is Starfish IOT capable.

A full reel delivers 3080 lumens at 30 watts on 24V. That works out to roughly 96 lumens per foot across the 32 ft run, which puts it in accent and cove territory rather than task lighting. For panel schedule purposes the plug-in driver load is small enough to share a general purpose 120V receptacle circuit.

It carries a cETLus safety listing, which covers both US and Canadian requirements, and the product is RoHS compliant. One item for submittal packages and facility disclosure: NUVO flags lead under California Proposition 65 for this product.

Rated life is 50,000 hours. The LEDs are integrated into the tape, so there is nothing to relamp. When a section fails you replace tape, which is why property managers standardizing on this should keep the 64-141 designation on file rather than a generic reel that will not color match the RGB and tunable white output of the existing runs.
