The kit is complete for a basic run. NUVO ships the 64-142 with an outdoor rated plug-in driver, a receiver, an RF remote, 80 mounting clips, and two 10-meter reels of tape. No separate power supply or controller purchase is needed to get it lit. What you do supply is a standard receptacle within cord reach of where you want the driver to sit, plus anything you need for concealing the tape or the cord run.

It ships as two 10-meter reels rather than one unbroken 64-foot length, which is the practical detail on the drawing. Total product length is listed at 787.44 inches. Plan your layout around two runs, with a break where the reels join.

It's IP65 with a wet location rating and the plug-in driver is outdoor rated, so the hardware handles moisture exposure. NUVO still classifies the product itself as indoor. For a covered soffit or a protected patio edge that's a normal use of a wet-rated, IP65 tape; for fully exposed installs, treat the indoor designation as the governing spec.

No hardwiring. It runs at 24V DC off the included plug-in driver, so it lands on a standard receptacle rather than a junction box. That keeps it out of the electrician's scope on most retrofit jobs, which is why property managers use it for cove and under-cabinet work in occupied units.

Two paths. Out of the box you get an RF remote and receiver in the kit, which handles dimming and color without any network. It's also Starfish IOT capable, so it can join app and voice control if the facility wants scheduling or scene control across multiple runs. The tape is dimmable either way.

6300 lumens total across the run at 68W, which is hi-output for tape and enough to carry cove lighting as a real ambient layer, not only a glow line. CRI is 80+, adequate for corridors, retail perimeter, and hospitality coves. For color-critical work such as merchandise or art, specify a 90+ CRI product instead.

It carries a cETLus safety listing, covering both US and Canadian requirements, and it's RoHS compliant. Note also that NUVO flags lead under California Prop 65 for this product, which matters if you're submitting compliance documentation on a California job.

The LEDs are integrated into the tape, so there is no lamp to change. Rated life is 50,000 hours. For an MRO plan, treat the strip as a replaceable assembly rather than a serviceable fixture, and keep the driver and receiver in mind as the components most likely to need attention first.

No DIP switches or field-select tabs here. The 64-142 is not CCT selectable in that sense; white tuning is done through the RGB plus tunable white control from the remote or the Starfish app. If you need a fixed color temperature set once at install and locked, a CCT selectable product is the better specification.

Mounting is by clip, with 80 clips in the kit, so it's a mechanical fix rather than relying on adhesive alone. The tape body is plastic, so it bends along a cove or a cabinet run. Spacing your clips evenly across the 787.44 inches of tape is what keeps a long run from sagging between supports.
