1) Will the TOTO GC touchless faucet fit a single-hole lavatory sink?
Single-hole deck mount is exactly what the GC touchless faucet is built for. It needs one faucet hole and mounts through the deck, with a maximum deck thickness of 2 inches. If your lav or countertop is thicker than that at the mounting point, the supplied hardware won't clamp down and you'll need to relieve the underside. Three-hole decks need a deck plate to cover the outer holes, which isn't part of what ships with the faucet.

It's how the sensor treats your hands. On-demand (T21S32 for 20 second, T21S51 for 10 second) runs only while hands are under the spout and shuts off the moment they leave, with a maximum run of 10 or 20 seconds per activation. Continuous (T21S53) starts a timed 20 second run on activation and finishes the cycle. On-demand is the water saver for a busy public restroom because nothing can be left running; continuous is easier for a user who has to move their hands around during the wash, and is the more forgiving choice in healthcare and food-adjacent handwash stations.
5) Do I need a mixing valve with the TOTO GC touchless faucet, or does it come with one?
You choose. The GC touchless faucet is ordered three ways: no valve, a mixing valve (M suffix, such as T21S32EM#CP), or a thermostatic mixing valve (T suffix, such as T21S32ET#CP). The no-valve models feed straight off your supplies, so tempering has to happen upstream at a master or point-of-use valve. Pick the thermostatic version where you need the outlet temperature held against pressure and inlet swings, which is the usual call for public and institutional restrooms; the plain mixing valve just blends hot and cold at a set ratio.
