Not on the ECOPOWER versions. The Libella's ECOPOWER hydro-turbine makes its own current from the water passing through the spout and stores it in rechargeable cells, so there is no external power source, no wiring run, and no battery to change. TOTO also builds Libella in an AC power version and in a version that runs either ECOPOWER or AC, so if your spec calls for a hardwired transformer feed you can order it that way instead. 2) How long does the water run on a TOTO Libella touchless faucet, and can I get a shorter cycle?
Three run behaviors are offered across Libella: 20 second continuous, 20 second on-demand, and 10 second on-demand. Continuous means one hand wave starts the water and it runs the full 20 seconds, then shuts off on its own, which is what you want in a school or stadium restroom where users walk away mid-wash. On-demand runs only while hands stay in the sensor field, up to the stated limit. Pick the run mode on the order, it is not field-adjustable between models.
