TOTO THU466#01 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What does the TOTO THU466 flush valve tower replace?
THU466#01 is the trip lever handle for TOTO Promenade toilets. It's a factory replacement part, so if the handle on a Promenade has snapped, gone brittle, or the flush is no longer tripping the valve, this is the piece that swaps in. Order by the MPN THU466#01 to be sure you get the right one.
2) Will the TOTO THU466 trip lever fit any TOTO toilet, or only the Promenade?
Promenade only. TOTO trip levers are model-specific in length, bend, and mounting, and THU466#01 is catalogued as the Promenade handle. If you're servicing a Drake, Ultramax, or another TOTO line, look up the trip lever assigned to that model rather than fitting this one.
3) Is the THU466#01 a full flush valve or just the handle?
Just the trip lever handle. THU466#01 covers the external lever and its mounting into the tank, not the flush valve body, the seal, or the fill valve. If the tank is running constantly rather than failing to flush, the problem is downstream of this part and you'll want the valve seal for that Promenade instead.
4) I manage a building with several TOTO Promenade toilets. Can I stock one trip lever part number for all of them?
Yes, for Promenade fixtures. THU466#01 is the single trip lever handle TOTO assigns to that model, so one part number covers every Promenade in the portfolio. Where a property mixes TOTO lines, each other model carries its own lever number, so stock by model rather than assuming one handle covers the fleet.
5) Does the TOTO Promenade trip lever come in more than one finish?
THU466#01 is the single configuration offered for the Promenade trip lever, so there is no finish choice to make on the order. Specify the MPN and that is the part you get.
