TOTO THU9497#12 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is TOTO THU9497#12 the left or the right cover?
Left. THU9497#12 is the G500 left cover, so if you are replacing a damaged cover on the right side it is the wrong hand and you need the right-hand part number instead.
2) What exactly is the TOTO THU9497#12 part for a G500?
THU9497#12 is the left-side cover plate for the TOTO G500. It is a replacement trim piece, not a functional valve or internal component, so ordering it gets you the cosmetic cover only.
3) Will the TOTO G500 left cover work on other TOTO washlet or toilet models?
It is specified for the G500 only. TOTO cover plates are model-specific moldings, so a cover from another series will not seat correctly. Match the G500 designation and the THU9497#12 number before ordering.
