TOTO THU4018 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What exactly is TOTO THU4018?
THU4018 is the TOTO Mercer spout assembly, a replacement spout for a Mercer faucet rather than a complete faucet. You order it when the spout itself is damaged, pitted, or missing and the rest of the faucet body stays in the wall or on the deck.
2) Will the TOTO Mercer spout set fit a non-Mercer TOTO faucet?
No. THU4018 is built for the TOTO Mercer faucet line, so it should only go on a Mercer faucet. For another TOTO collection, order the spout part number listed for that collection instead; TOTO spout assemblies are not cross-compatible between series.
3) Is THU4018 a single part number or do I pick a finish?
THU4018 is a single orderable part number for the Mercer spout assembly, so there is no separate finish code to specify when ordering it.
4) Do I get the valve or trim with the TOTO THU4018 spout?
No, THU4018 covers the spout assembly only. Valve cartridges, handles, escutcheons, and rough-in valve bodies are separate TOTO part numbers, so a property manager rebuilding a Mercer faucet usually needs the matching cartridge or handle kit ordered alongside it.
