TOTO THU6699#01 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What exactly is the TOTO THU6699#01 part?
THU6699#01 is a TOTO lever cover assembly, the trim cover that goes over the flush lever handle. It's a handle-type repair part, not a complete flush valve or trip lever mechanism. If the lever arm or valve itself is failing, this cover assembly won't fix it.
2) What color is the TOTO THU6699#01 lever cover?
Cotton. The #01 suffix on the TOTO part number is Cotton White, and it's the only version this assembly comes in, so it matches Cotton White TOTO toilets and bidets rather than Colonial White, Sedona Beige, or Ebony.
3) How do I make sure I order the right TOTO lever cover for my toilet?
Order by the TOTO part number, not by the toilet model. The cover assembly is THU6699#01, and the color suffix has to match your fixture, since #01 is Cotton. TOTO trim parts are model-specific, so confirm your toilet's parts breakdown calls out THU6699 before ordering.
4) Is the TOTO THU6699#01 a plumbing repair part or a bathroom accessory?
It's a plumbing repair part. The THU6699#01 lever cover assembly falls under TOTO's plumbing line as a replacement component for bath fixtures, which matters for maintenance buyers coding it to a plumbing MRO account rather than a washroom accessories order.
