TOTO THP5124 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) My pop-up sink stopper won't stay down or won't seal, do I need a new drain or just the pivot arm?
A stopper that drops, sticks, or won't seat is usually the pivot arm and its bushings rather than the drain body. THP5124 is that connecting part for a TOTO sink drain assembly, and replacing it restores the linkage without pulling the drain tailpiece out of the lavatory.
2) Is the TOTO THP5124 pivot arm for a lavatory sink or for a tub drain?
Sink use. THP5124 is specified for sink (lavatory) drain applications, so it is not the part to order for a bathtub waste and overflow linkage.
3) Does the THP5124 kit include the lift rod and the stopper too?
No. THP5124 covers the pivot arm and bushings only. The lift rod, the clevis strap, the stopper, and the drain body are separate parts, so order those individually if yours are also worn.
4) Is there more than one version of TOTO THP5124 to choose from?
One configuration only. THP5124 ships as a single part number with no finish or size options to specify, which keeps the order simple for a maintenance shop stocking spares across several TOTO lavatories.
