1) Will an ABUS 115/100 hasp work on a door that sits proud of the frame?
No. The 115/100 is built for openings that close flush, where the door leaf and the frame finish level with each other. If your door face stands forward of the frame, or there is a rebate or a step between the two, the fixed staple will not line up with the hasp arm and you need a hasp built for an offset opening instead.
2) Is the ABUS 115/100 hasp strong enough for a commercial storage unit or roller shutter?
It is rated commercial and made of 13/64 inch hardened steel with corrosion protection, and ABUS calls out roller shutters specifically as an application. The hardened plate is what matters on a storage door: soft mild steel hasps get cut or twisted off, hardened stock resists that. It is a padlock hasp, so the security is only as good as the padlock you hang in it.
3) Does the ABUS 115/100 hasp come with mounting screws or bolts?
Fasteners are not part of the 115/100. You supply them, and on any exterior or high-value opening you want carriage bolts through the door with the nuts on the secure side, not wood screws, since screw heads on the outside face are the usual failure point. The plate is 13/64 inch hardened steel, so drill it out rather than trying to self-tap through it.
4) Is the ABUS 115/100 hasp OK for outdoor use, like a yard gate or an exterior shed?
Yes. It is zinc plated over hardened steel and ABUS lists it as corrosion protected, which is what you want on an exposed opening. Zinc plating handles weather and washdown; it is not stainless, so in coastal salt air or a chemically aggressive environment expect surface staining over time even though the plate keeps its strength.
