1) What power supply do I need for ACSI 1550-MD motor drive electric latch retraction exit devices?
The ACSI 1420 is the power supply built for the Series 1550-MD Motor Drive Electric Latch Retraction. It puts out filtered and regulated 24VDC with 2.2A of load capacity, which covers the motor draw on latch retraction devices, and it carries the control logic those openings need rather than being a bare transformer. If your job is a 1550-MD retrofit or new install, this is the matching supply.
2) Will the ACSI 1420 power supply run on 240V, or do I need a 120V circuit?

That delay is what keeps the operator from pushing the door before the latches are clear, so you don't need a separate sequencing relay or timer in the package.
5) Can the ACSI 1420 release the doors on a fire alarm signal?
Yes. There is a dedicated input for an optional fire alarm or emergency release switch, used where the door needs to unlock urgently. That input is part of the standard 1420, not an add-on model.
6) Will a 2 amp 24VDC supply be enough for electric latch retraction, or will it drop out?
