1) Will the ACSI 1550K-MDO fit a Falcon 25 or 24 series exit device, or only the 1690 and 1790?
The 1550K-MDO is built for Falcon 1690 Series and 1790 Series exit devices only. If the device on your door is a different Falcon family, this kit is not the one. ACSI builds the 1550K around the host device, so the suffix has to match the brand and series you are retrofitting: MDV covers Von Duprin 33A/35A/98/99 and 22, MDC covers Corbin Russwin ED4000/ED5000 and Yale 7000. Confirm the model stamped on the device before you order the suffix.
2) What voltage does the ACSI 1550K-MDO latch retraction kit run on?
24VDC. That is the supply you need to size at the power supply and pull to the door, typically through a door loop or transfer hinge. The retraction is motorized rather than solenoid driven, so plan the circuit for a motor load on the 24VDC side.
3) Can I use the ACSI 1550K-MDO on a fire rated door?
