The Adams Rite 4015 Threshold Bolt provides maximum security for pairs of doors with single key operation when used in conjunction with an MS® Deadlock. This two-point locking solution features a stainless steel hexagonal bolt (3/8" flat to flat) that simultaneously drops into the threshold while the MS® bolt pivots into the mating door's stile. Standard threshold bolt rod accommodates cylinder heights up to 53-7/16" (1357.3 mm) and is fully threaded for field adjustment.

Installation & Operation

1. Review manufacturer specifications and verify door preparation requirements including door thickness, stile width, and cylinder height compatibility for this threshold bolt system.
2. Use manufacturer-provided templates to mark mounting hole locations accurately on door and threshold surfaces, ensuring proper alignment with existing MS® deadlock.
3. Prepare threshold by drilling 1/2" diameter hole for bolt reception, or install 4005 Strike for non-metal threshold applications.
4. Install threshold bolt assembly to rear of pivoted bolt MS® deadlock using provided attachment pin and mounting hardware per manufacturer specifications.
5. Adjust threaded rod length to match exact cylinder height up to 53-7/16" maximum, cutting fully threaded rod as needed for shorter applications.
6. Test complete two-point locking operation with 360° key turn to verify proper threshold bolt drop and MS® bolt pivot function. Refer to manufacturer documentation for complete installation details and troubleshooting.
