The Adams Rite MS1861-02-603 is a two-point bottom rail deadlock designed for ultra-narrow stile and all-glass doors where conventional lock installation is not possible due to space constraints. Part of the MS® Series, this deadbolt features the reliable over-center/pivot locking mechanism, delivering maximum security even in minimal space.
Engineered with hardened steel bolts, the lock includes both horizontal and vertical locking points—ideal for single doors or pairs. The horizontal bolt is designed to avoid the problems of traditional threshold strikes, reducing risk of debris collection or tripping hazards. The MS1861-02 is not recommended for wood doors and is best suited for metal or tempered glass aluminum storefront systems.
Operation is achieved with a 360° turn of a standard 1-5/32" mortise cylinder (MS cam required). The key can only be removed in the fully locked or unlocked position for added security. A 4014 Conversion Kit is available to convert MS1861-01 models to two-point locking.
