The Adams Rite 1875 Two-Point Deadlock delivers enhanced security for roll-up doors, overhead doors, and security screens through dual-bolt locking operation. This Grade 1 commercial deadlock features a compact 1" x 6" x 2-5/8" steel case with corrosion-resistant plating and accepts standard 1" mortise cylinders for key control. The 1-1/32" bolt throw with threaded 1/4" - 20 rod connections provides reliable two-point locking from either or both sides of the door.

Installation & Operation

1. Review manufacturer specifications and verify door preparation requirements including door thickness, stile width clearances of 1-11/16" on one side and 1" on the other side of cylinder center.
2. Use manufacturer-provided templates to mark mounting hole locations accurately on door surfaces for the 1" x 6" x 2-5/8" case dimensions.
3. Prepare door by drilling required holes and routing as specified in manufacturer instructions for proper case installation.
4. Install the deadlock case and secure all mounting hardware per manufacturer torque specifications.
5. Install mortise cylinders (available separately) and connect bolt rods with threaded 1/4" - 20 connections to door-specific bolt guides and strikes.
6. Test 90° turn operation for bolt projection and retraction, and verify 360° key deadlock function prevents turn operation in both locked and unlocked positions. Refer to manufacturer documentation for complete installation details and door-specific hardware requirements.
