  2. Use manufacturer-provided templates to mark mounting hole locations accurately on door and frame surfaces for the 1" x 6" case dimensions.
  3. Prepare door and frame by drilling required holes and routing strike slot in metal jamb per manufacturer specifications for armored strike installation.
  4. Install deadlock case in door preparation and secure armored strike with satin stainless steel trimplate, steel mounting plate, and dustbox to frame.
  5. Install mortise cylinder (sold separately) with MS cam ensuring proper alignment with pivot mechanism for smooth 360° operation.
  6. Test deadlock operation to verify proper bolt projection and retraction with counterbalanced action and confirm key removal only occurs in locked or unlocked positions. Refer to manufacturer documentation for complete installation details and troubleshooting.
