The GT-2C is an audio/video tenant master station for the GT Series Multi-Tenant Video Entry Security Intercom System. It is equipped with a TALK button, Door Release button, and a programmable OPTION button. This master station can support up to three GT-2H sub master stations with the ability to communicate internally between them. When a visitor calls, the tenant station rings and video is displayed. The call is answered by one touch of the TALK button. A handset (GT-HS) can be added to the unit if additional privacy is required. The unit features a 3.5" color LCD screen, PTZ control button for the camera, and Picture Memory to record visitor images automatically when a call is placed to the unit. A personal video door station can be installed outside the tenant's door and connected to the GT-2C to replace peephole identification.
The GT-2C is equipped with three programmable security/utility inputs and one emergency input. The utility input will trigger the tenant station while the security and emergency inputs will trigger both the tenant and the guard / concierge stations. Up to 500 total GT-2C stations can be used in one system.

Internal communication on the GT-2C is within a single tenant's apartment, not unit to unit. Each GT-2C supports up to three GT-2H sub master stations, and the GT-2C and its sub stations can talk to each other internally, so a second or third room can answer the entrance call.
3) Can I wire a panic button or door contact to the tenant intercom station?
The GT-2C has three programmable security/utility inputs plus one emergency input. A utility input alerts only the tenant station; security and emergency inputs alert both the tenant station and the guard or concierge station, which is how you get a front desk notified of a unit alarm.

Yes. A personal video door station can be installed outside the tenant's door and connected to the GT-2C, so the tenant identifies callers at their own door on screen instead of through a peephole, in addition to answering the building entrance.

The GT-2C is rated for 32 to 104 degrees F (0 to 40 C), so it belongs in conditioned interior space. A vestibule that drops below freezing is outside its range; entrance-side equipment is what gets mounted in the weather, not the tenant station.
9) What does the OPTION button on the GT-2C do, and can it control a second door?
