That 500 foot video limit is usually what governs riser layout in a large building, so plan the closet location around the most distant tenant station, not the door.
5) What cable do I need to pull for an Aiphone GT video entrance panel?
Two sets of 2-conductor PE insulated cable, forming two common buses, one for audio and one for video. Aiphone specifies #872002 (2 conductor PE insulated, non-shielded, 11.05 pf/ft) for audio and #871802 with the same construction for video. The low capacitance rating matters, so generic 2-conductor is not an equivalent substitute on long risers.
