1) Will the Alarm Controls TS-32 panic station stay released after I press it, or does it reset when I let go?
It latches. The TS-32 uses an alternate action switch, so the mushroom button stays in whatever state you push it into (active or inactive) until someone presses it again. That is the behavior you want for an emergency door release that has to hold the door unlocked until staff deliberately reset it. If you need a momentary press-and-release button that only holds the door open while pressed, this is the wrong station.
