Anchors only. The jar of 100 holds the ribbed plastic sleeves, and you supply #10 or #12 screws to suit what you are fastening, along with a masonry bit matched to the anchor body. On a job where you are hanging the same bracket repeatedly, buy the screws in the length that puts full thread through the 1 inch anchor plus the thickness of the item being mounted.

A ribbed anchor like the JGA2 has molded ribs down the body that grip the sides of the drilled hole as the screw drives in and expands the sleeve. The ribs resist spin-out, which is the usual failure when a plain smooth plug turns in the hole instead of expanding. For hollow drywall with no masonry behind it, a toggle or self-drilling drywall anchor holds better than any expansion plug, ribbed or not; the ribbed plug is at its best in a solid substrate where the hole walls can be pushed against.

Gray is the body color of the JGA2. On ribbed plastic anchors, color is the manufacturer's size code rather than a finish choice, so the gray body and the #10-12 x 1 inch designation identify the same part. Order by the JGA2 model number and the size, not by the color you remember from the last jar.

The #10-12 x 1 inch range is the common middle size, so a single jar of JGA2 covers a lot of standard MRO mounting with two screw gauges rather than one. It will not cover everything: lighter #6 and #8 work and heavier long-embedment fastening need their own anchors. For a property manager or facility stockroom standardizing, this is the size to keep deepest and buy the outliers as the job calls for them.
