The JDIA12L takes a 1/2-13 bolt or threaded rod, meaning 1/2 inch diameter with 13 threads per inch, which is the standard UNC coarse thread for that diameter. You set the anchor in concrete, then thread your 1/2-13 rod or bolt into it. The anchor supplies the internal threads only, so bolts, rod, nuts, and washers are separate.

It is a zinc plated steel anchor, which is a mild corrosion coating meant for dry interior concrete, not wet or exterior exposure. For outdoor decks, parking structures, wash-down areas, or anywhere chlorides are present, go to a stainless drop-in or a hot-dip galvanized anchor instead of zinc plated.
