Metallics LCSX1240 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) How many anchors come in a jar of Metallics LCSX1240?
The LCSX1240 ships 25 anchors to a jar, which is the stocking pack for this item. If you're anchoring strut, panel backs, or conduit supports across a building, count your hole locations and order jars accordingly rather than assuming a loose-piece count.
2) Are these Metallics 1/2 x 4 anchors galvanized for damp or outdoor locations?
Yes, the LCSX1240 is steel with a galvanized finish, so it holds up better than plain steel in damp interior areas, parking structures, and exterior masonry work. For continuous saltwater exposure or chemical environments, stainless is the usual step up.
3) Do I need a wrench or a screwdriver to set these 1/2 inch Metallics anchors?
Hex head, so it sets with a socket or wrench rather than a driver bit. Plan on a 1/2 inch anchor needing real torque, which means an impact or a ratchet with some length to it, not a cordless screw gun.
