Metallics MAN14M – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is the MAN14M a standalone anchor or do I need to buy screws separately?
The MAN14M is the anchor only, supplied 1000 to a jar. You supply the #14 screws in the length your fixture and substrate depth require, since the anchor is sized for a #14 gauge screw.
2) How many Metallics MAN14M anchors come in a pack?
They ship 1000 anchors to a jar. That is the pack type and count for the MAN14M, so it is a bulk quantity suited to repetitive work like mounting strut, boxes, or conduit straps across a building rather than a one-off repair.
3) What part number do I order for the Metallics #14 x 2 inch Mungo anchor?
Order Metallics MAN14M. That is the manufacturer part number for the #14 screw size, 2 inch Mungo anchor supplied in a 1000-piece jar.
4) Are Metallics MAN14M anchors meant for electrical rough-in work?
Yes. Metallics catalogues the MAN14M on the electrical side of its fastener line, and a 1000-count jar of #14 x 2 inch anchors is the kind of quantity used for fastening boxes, straps, and supports during rough-in rather than for finish carpentry.
