Appleton EYS Series 25% Fill Conduit Sealing Fitting

The Appleton EYS Series 25% fill vertical and horizontal sealing fitting prevents the passage of gases, vapors, or flames from one portion of a conduit system to another, restricting ignitable gas or vapor accumulation to confine explosive pressure. Constructed of Grayloy™-iron with a triple-coat finish, these fittings are explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof, and raintight, and are suitable for use in Class I and II locations.

Key Features

• Integral Bushing: Smooth, rounded integral bushing in each hub protects conductor insulation.
• Interchangeable Nipple: Removable nipple in the male sealing fitting may be used interchangeably in the top or bottom hub.
• Vertical and Horizontal Configuration: Rated for use in either orientation within Class I, Division 1 and 2 locations.
• Durable Construction: Grayloy™-iron body resists corrosion and provides rigid, long-lasting joints.
• Accurately Tapped Threads: Tapered threads deliver tight, rigid joints and dependable ground continuity.
• Large Fill Opening: Generous opening simplifies damming and filling of the sealing compound.
• Sealing Compound Compatibility: UL Listed for use with Kwiko™ A Sealing Compound; also listed with certain competitor sealing cements (contact factory for details).
• Explosionproof Protection: Explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof, and raintight design prevents pressure piling and restricts any explosion to the sealed-off enclosure.
