The Appleton FSQC Series covers 30, 60 and 100 Amp interlocked receptacles built for hazardous-location power distribution. Each unit pairs an explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof housing with an interlocked disconnect switch, so the plug can only be inserted or removed when the circuit is safely de-energized. Designed to mate with Appleton Powertite™ plugs, the FSQC is rated up to 600 Vac and is suitable for Class I, Class II and Class III hazardous environments as well as NEMA 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 7CD and 9FG applications.

Key Features

• Tapped NPT Conduit Openings: 3/4" for 30 Amp, 1-1/2" for 60 Amp, and 2" for 100 Amp units, located at top and bottom for flexible feed-thru wiring.
• Interlocked Disconnect Switch: Provides safe connect/disconnect operation at 30, 60 or 100 Amp, 600 Vac maximum, three pole, non-fused motor circuit switch — insert the plug and rotate the collar to ON to energize, rotate to OFF to safely remove.
• Durable Construction: Receptacle body, mounting box, covers and plug housings are copper-free (4/10 of 1% max.) aluminum finished in epoxy powder coat for corrosion resistance.
• Insulating Blocks: Fiberglass-reinforced polyester insulators deliver superior dielectric and mechanical strength with the lowest arc tracking.
• Brass Contacts: Exert constant pressure along the entire contact surface for superior, reliable electrical connection.
• Beryllium Copper Wire Springs: Maintain consistent contact spring tension over repeated cycles.
• Spring Door & NEMA 4 Cover: A spring-loaded door keeps dust out of the receptacle when the plug is not in use; a screw cover is also supplied free of charge for NEMA 4 applications.
• Powertite™ Plug Compatible: Style 2 (shell and extra pole) grounding, engineered specifically to accept the Powertite Series plug.
