B-LINE FTSTLC – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What size Flextray wire basket does the Eaton B-Line FTSTLC Tab-loc connector work with?
The FTSTLC Tab-loc connector is made for Eaton B-Line Flextray wire basket tray from 2 inches through 32 inches wide. That covers the full common run of basket widths, so one connector part number works across mixed-width sections on the same job rather than stocking a different splice for each tray size.
2) Is the B-Line FTSTLC Flextray connector UL Listed?
Yes, the FTSTLC Tab-loc connector is UL Listed. For an institutional or government spec that calls for listed components throughout the cable pathway, that listing applies to the splice hardware as well as the tray itself.
3) Do I need tools or extra hardware to splice Flextray with Tab-loc connectors?
Tab-loc is a tab-and-slot style connector, so the splice is made by the connector itself rather than by separate nuts, bolts and washers. The FTSTLC is sold as the connector; the tray sections, supports and any hangers are ordered separately.
4) Can I use the FTSTLC connector on another manufacturer's wire basket tray?
The FTSTLC is specified for Eaton B-Line series Flextray. The tab and slot pattern is matched to that tray, so plan on it for B-Line Flextray runs rather than as a universal basket splice.
