Thirty inches of wire comes with the BKT-063-30. That is the drop you have to work with, so for suspending lighting or cable tray from a deck, measure your finished hanging height plus whatever you lose at the toggle and the gripper before choosing this length over a longer KwikWire assembly.

The toggle end is the anchor end of the assembly. On the BKT-063-30 it is a toggle termination, meaning the fitting passes through a hole in the structure above and then flips crosswise to bear against the far side, rather than threading into a rod or hooking over a flange. That makes it the choice when you have access to drill through the deck or a structural member but nothing to screw into.

It is cULus Listed, which is what an electrical inspector or a spec writer on a commercial job will be looking for when suspended supports are used for lighting or raceway. Useful if you are standardizing hanging hardware across a facility.

Wire rope hangers like the BKT-063-30 go up faster than threaded rod because the cable is cut to length at the gripper instead of being measured, cut and coupled on site, and the whole assembly weighs .416 lb. The tradeoff is direction: a wire hanger only carries load in tension straight down, where rod can be braced and handles some lateral restraint. For seismic bracing or anything that has to resist side loads, rod or a dedicated brace is the right answer, not wire.

Order it as BKT-063-30, from the Eaton B-Line KwikWire wire rope hanging system. The 063 refers to the .062 inch maximum wire size and the 30 to the 30 inch wire length, so adjacent part numbers in the series change one or the other.
