B-Line Eaton series open racks, 96" height, 6.375" length, 6" width, Aluminum, Rack mounted vertical cabling section dual hinging removable, Plastic

No. The SB57166S096AL vertical cabling section is a 96 inch tall unit, which is an 8-foot rack height. On a standard 84 inch (7-foot) frame it will overhang the top. Match the manager height to the rack height you actually have.

It is a 6 inch wide by 6.375 inch deep channel running the full 96 inch height, so you get a single continuous vertical run for patch cord and trunk routing between two adjacent racks. If you only need to dress a handful of cords, a 3 inch wide section is the lighter option; 6 inch is what you want where high pair-count copper is stacked up.

Yes. It is a dual hinging removable design with a plastic gate, so the cover swings from either side and lifts off entirely. That matters in a live room where one side of the manager is tight against a wall or a neighbouring cabinet and you can only reach the bundle from one direction.

Use this where cable has to travel up and down the frame between racks, gathering the slack from every RU in a single channel, 96 inches of it here. Horizontal managers only dress the short run from a patch panel to the switch directly above or below it. Most data rooms use both: horizontal at each panel, and a vertical section like this at the side of the rack to carry everything to the top or bottom of the frame.

It is a rack mounted section, not a freestanding frame. It attaches to the side of an open frame rack you already have, so you need the racks in place first and enough floor space between or beside them for the 6 inch width plus 6.375 inch depth.

The body is aluminum with a brushed finish. Aluminum does not rust the way painted steel does when the coating gets scratched during install, which is why it is a common pick for open frame data racks. The gate itself is plastic.

It weighs 12.1 lb, so the weight is not the issue, the 96 inch length is. One installer can carry it, but holding an 8-foot section plumb against the rack while starting the 1/2-13 hardware is a two-person job in practice.
