Plan on 23 inches wide by 10.5 inches high, projecting 6 inches off the wall. Because it is hinged, you also need side clearance to swing the frame out for rear cable access, so avoid mounting it tight into a corner or right beside a door casing.

Six mounting units. That is enough for something like two 24-port patch panels plus a small switch or wire management panel, all within the 10.5 inch overall height of the frame.

The hinge is about service access. On a fixed bracket you terminate and troubleshoot with the panel flat against the wall and no room behind it. This one swings out, so a tech can get at the rear of the panel for punchdowns, re-terminations, and moves without pulling panels off the frame. If the closet is deep enough for a full open frame floor rack, that gets you far more than 6U; this bracket is for a small closet, corridor, or MDF wall where 6U is all you need.

It is aluminum with a Telco gray powder coat finish. Aluminum does not rust like bare steel, and the powder coat adds a further barrier, which is why it is a reasonable pick for basement and mechanical-room closets. The whole bracket weighs 13.5 lb, light enough for one person to hold up while setting anchors.

The bracket itself is 13.5 lb before you add panels, switches, and cable weight, and it is hinged, so the load swings out from the wall and puts leverage on the fasteners. Anchor it into studs, into plywood backing, or into masonry with appropriate anchors. Hollow drywall anchors alone are not a sound choice for a loaded 6U frame. Fasteners are selected for the wall you are working with and are not part of the bracket.

The finish is Telco gray powder coat, the standard B-Line series telecom color, so it reads as a match alongside other B-Line open frame racks and cable runway finished the same way. If your existing gear is black or white, this will not blend.
