B-Line Eaton series open racks, Aluminum, Mounting units: 2, Telco gray powder coat, Wall mounted patch panel bracket 19" or 23" panel mount, hinged

Both. The Eaton B-Line SB750190602TG bracket is built to mount either a 19 inch or a 23 inch panel, so one part covers standard EIA rack-width panels and the wider telco panels used in a lot of older comms closets.

Two mounting units (2U), which at the standard 1.75 inch per rack unit matches the stated 3.5 inch height of the bracket. That is enough for a single 2U patch panel or two 1U panels, not a full switch stack, so size the number of ports you need before ordering.

Six inches of depth. That is the clearance you need to allow in a closet or behind a door swing, and because the bracket is hinged, the panel swings out from the wall so you can get at the rear terminations without pulling it down.

A hinged bracket like this one is for a couple of patch panels where there is no room or no budget for an enclosure. It gives 2 mounting units, opens away from the wall for rear access, and takes up 19 inches of width and 6 inches of depth. If you need to house active gear, lockable security, or more than 2U, go to a wall-mount cabinet or an open frame rack instead.

The bracket itself is aluminum and weighs 4 pounds, so the bracket is not the load. Loaded patch panels plus cable weight are, and the cable bundle hangs off it once it is terminated. Fasten into studs or solid blocking rather than hollow-wall anchors alone.

It is finished in telco gray powder coat, the standard gray used across Eaton B-Line open frame rack products, so it reads the same as existing telco gray racks and panels. Aluminum under the powder coat keeps it from rusting in a damp basement or riser.
