B-Line Eaton series open racks, Aluminum with steel hinge and mounting brackets, Height: 84", Mounting spaces: 43, 10" to 18" adjustable depth, Flat

The SB542084FB gives you 43 mounting spaces over an 84 inch frame height. That is 43 rack units of 19 inch equipment, which is the panel width the frame is built to.

Plan the depth around the rack's adjustable range of 10 to 18 inches, set at 12 inches as supplied. Because it is a swing gate, the frame hinges away from the wall, so you need clear floor and wall space on the hinge side equal to the rack depth plus the 19 inch width swinging through its arc, and 84 inches of vertical height.

Depth is adjustable from 10 to 18 inches on the same frame, factory set at 12 inches, so you can move the rails out for deeper switches or patch fields without changing racks. Anything deeper than 18 inches needs a different frame.

An open aluminum swing gate frame like the SB542084FB is meant for wall-mounted network and telecom closets where you need access to both sides of the gear and no locked enclosure. The frame is aluminum with steel hinge and mounting brackets at the load points. If you need lockable security or dust control, an enclosed cabinet is the right choice instead; an open rack leaves equipment exposed.

Order model SB542084FB. That single part number covers the 84 inch height, 43 mounting spaces, 10 to 18 inch adjustable depth aluminum swing gate rack in flat black. There are no finish or size options to specify.

The frame weighs 50.4 lb on its own. An 84 inch rack at that weight is manageable by two people for lifting and holding while the wall brackets are anchored, but the wall anchors have to carry the frame plus the loaded equipment.

Flat black powder coat, which is the standard finish across Eaton B-Line open frame network racks, so it will read the same as other black B-Line frames in a shared closet.
