B-LINE SB116102 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What exactly is B-Line SB116102, and what part of the rack does it go on?
SB116102 is a base insulator from the Eaton B-Line series open frame rack line. It is the insulating piece that sits at the rack base rather than a structural rack member, so order it as a component or replacement part, not as the rack itself.
2) Is the B-Line SB116102 base insulator metal or non-conductive?
It is molded polyester fiberglass, a non-conductive material, which is why it works as an insulator between the rack base and the mounting surface. No metal content is part of the piece.
3) What are the dimensions of the SB116102 rack base insulator, and will it span a standard 19 inch open rack footprint?
The piece measures 24.3125 in wide, 3.5 in in length/depth, and .063 in high. That width runs past the 19 inch mounting width of a standard open frame rack, so it is sized to sit under the full rack base channel rather than just between the uprights. Confirm your rack base channel length before ordering, since the 24.3125 in dimension is fixed.
4) Does the B-Line SB116102 base insulator come with anchors or mounting hardware?
No. SB116102 is the fiberglass insulator only, one piece per order line at .55 lb. Floor anchors, bolts, and washers for setting the open rack are separate items, so add them to the order if the rack is a new install.
