B-LINE SB106YZ – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is the yellow zinc finish on this B-Line clip suitable for outdoor or wet locations?
Yellow zinc chromate is a plated finish intended for dry indoor service, which is where open frame racks normally live (equipment rooms, IDFs, electrical rooms). For damp, corrosive, or exterior runs, specify a hot dip galvanized or stainless framing clip instead rather than the yellow zinc SB106YZ.
2) Do the mounting bolts come with the B-Line SB106YZ clip?
The SB106YZ is supplied as the steel clip only. Plan on ordering the channel nuts, bolts, and washers separately to suit the strut and the load on your rack assembly.
