B-LINE SB561323WOYZ – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What are the dimensions of the B-Line SB561323WOYZ base guard box?
It measures 25.94 inches wide, 6 inches high, and 2 inches deep. The 25.94 inch width is the dimension to check against your rack footprint before ordering, since a standard 19 inch equipment rack has base uprights wider than the panel space itself.
2) Is the yellow zinc finish on this B-Line rack base guard suitable for a damp or outdoor location?
Yellow zinc chromate over steel is a corrosion-resistant plating intended for dry indoor equipment rooms, not weather exposure. For an outdoor or wash-down location you want a gasketed enclosure rather than an open-rack base accessory.
3) Does the SB561323WOYZ base guard box come in network blue to match my existing B-Line racks?
This part ships in yellow zinc chromate plating. If your racks are finished in B-Line's network blue, the base guard will not visually match, though it mounts the same. Order the yellow zinc version only where appearance at the rack base doesn't matter.
4) How heavy is the base guard box, and can one person install it?
At 7.5 pounds it's a one-person part. Steel construction, so it has some rigidity to it, but nothing about the weight requires a second set of hands or lifting equipment.
5) Is there more than one size or finish option for the B-Line base guard box SB561323WOYZ?
One configuration only: part number SB561323WOYZ, yellow zinc chromate, 25.94 x 6 x 2 inches. There is no size or finish selection to make on the order.
