The kit ships complete for one wall attachment point: the angle bracket, a J bolt, and 5/16-18 hardware. What it does not include is the anchor into the wall itself, since that depends on whether you are fastening into concrete, block, or steel stud. Plan on supplying the wall anchors to suit the substrate.

A wall angle support kit like this one is what you use when the runway runs along or terminates at a wall and there is structure to fasten into. It brackets off the wall and uses the J bolt as a diagonal tie back. Threaded rod drops are for mid span runs out in open ceiling area where there is no wall to grab. Most runway layouts use both: wall angles at the perimeter and at terminations, rod drops through the middle of the run.

It is formed from 6 gauge ASTM A569 steel, which is heavy plate for a support bracket, and the assembly weighs 7.2 pounds on its own. The J bolt tie back is what carries the vertical load into the wall, so the limiting factor on a heavily loaded run is usually your wall anchor and spacing rather than the bracket.

The finish is yellow zinc over ASTM A569 steel, which is a dry indoor finish. That suits equipment rooms, MDF and IDF closets, and interior data spaces. For an exterior wall, a wash down area, or anywhere with condensation, specify a hot dip galvanized or stainless support instead.

The bracket body measures 1.63 inches in both height and depth, with the 25.13 inch dimension running across the runway width. Use those figures when you are checking clearance between the wall and the nearest rack or cabinet line.
